![]() Hi I have about 5000 cd+g's and supercd+g's I will share with anyone. Now heres the thing. I just got my own computer finally Its got all kinds of karaoke software installed. I havent the first clue how to use any of it? I dont even know how to burn a regular cd. I have a limewire icon on my computer and went to that site. It was really confusing? I coulnt figure out how to make any of the songs I found play? let alone record or download them? So if anyone can educate me I will share all my cdg's gratefully. Thanks Sean Cowgill |

![]() I stumbled uppon the Gnutella Forum for exactly this reason !! The answer is YES ! How do we go about it 'cause I'm not a computer knowitall ? Shall I place everything in my Limewire share folder? I have at this point in time, maybe 1000 songs mostly in MP3+G some in CD+G format and mostly 60's 70's and 80's which is what our group likes !! I know you have more but I know the feeling of looking for a song that is eluding one's searches....who knows maybe I have one ! THX JF |

![]() DKing ! Not moronic nor need to apologize. We're in the same boat. I got back from my LW search something similar to what you described. Keep trying! In the mean time I'll dive into the LW help pages and research this issue. They say that if a file is in your computer it can be shared !! Let's find out exactly how !! If anybody in the forum can help or has an interest in this strig....jump in ! JF |

![]() The problem has nothing to do with 'wanting' to share. The problem seems to be HOW to share. Without any direction this thread dies here. However, I have found a way to make this work a little. 1. I had to load purchase ($80) Parallels 3.0(would NOT work with 2.0) 2. Join mIRC ($20) 3. Purchased the KaraokeInfo.com 'Guide' ($60) 4. Purchase a new USB 2.0 external HD 750gb ($140) 5. Load songs onto the hard drive from the share servers on mIRC. 6. Purchase KJams Lite ($40) Bring songs over on external HD 7. Create the KJams 'Music Library' files on the external HD 8. UnZip the karaoke files into this same folder. 9. Drag and dropped the unzipped files from the 'Music Library' file. 10. Open up KJams and start jamming. Additionally I would recommend re-titling most of the songs so that it fits your need but really, with thousands of files, um.....could be a bit time consuming. Hope this helps someone, sure helped me. Best I could come up with since there really is no one on this site (or any other, to be fair) that will explain, in short detail like this, whether in private message, email or forum reply, how to do this. IF anyone has an easier plan and more cost effective plan, I'd be open for it. For now, this is all I've seen and the best I could come up with. Then I was all set, so now |
