DO NOT BUY SHAREBEAR PRO! Folks, SAVE your money on this one! I paid my subscription and so far, NO logon/use available with my SHAREBEAR PRO program.

Going on 2 WEEKS now and STILL NO TECHNICAL HELP!

That REALLY SUCKS folks!

(PRO ran only once when I first registered, but in truth, I saw NO advantage at all ~ only the AD BANNERS were dropped. Could be there are other benifits of PRO, but as I said, it ran only once.)

Sure it was ONLY $9.95, but multiply that number by 100 other possible ripped-off users and that is a chunck of money!

*** BY THE WAY, SHAREBEAR MAKES IT VERY CLEAR THAT THERE ARE NO RUFUNDS FOR ANY REASON *** Now I wonder if FRAUD counts? I promise you this, if BEARSHARE fails to deliver all they promised for my money, I WILL demand credit from my credit card company.

"Vinnie', I am more than happy to receive my request(s) for support here in a open forum or anywhere in fact.

My BearShare Pro worked only once and that was just after I entered my credit card information. After closing Bear Share Pro, it never worked again.

Each time I start "PRO" I am messaged back that my "Site Key does not match the Site Code". There are no options that allow me to set Site Codes and hence, my Site Key, Site Code and Bear Share Pro is useless.

Now as far as I know, prosupport@bearshare.com IS my "Key Supplier" and if you don't answer my EMail, I can't get my new codes! I have no other "Site Codes" or "Site Keys".

How often will I need to get new codes anyway?!

Your instructions (in part) say, '...In order to use BearShare Pro, just run it and wait. Do NOT hit enter at the first splash screen that appears. Just let BearShare Pro run'.... Well Vinnie, it's now two weeks and PRO is still POO. If I start PRO and enter nothing, the License Configuration Window stays there forever ~ as far as I know.

Yeah, even I have had such a problem. As Im sure many people here will be quick to point out BS is my favorite client. Anyway, it appears that the protection method used by bearshare is quite picky. In fact even defragmenting my HD was screwing up my subscription. Sam pointed me here:

"Vinnie" never bothered to reply again and nethier had SHAREBEAR "support".

As far as I am concerned, SHAREBEAR has RIPPED ME OFF and has commited Credit Card fraud.

A company does NOT offer services for a price and then fail to deliver when that price is paid!

At this point I am forwarding all of my EMail requests and posts here (including the reply from "Vinnie") to the California Consumer Affairs and to TECH TV because TECH TV mentioned SHAREBEAR on a program recently and that is how I learned of them.

Companies like this REALLY suck!

Pirate, has your problem been resolved? We are absolutely committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Have you even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it?

BearShare may have problems but all client do. Nobody has a perfect client and all users have different opinions on what makes a good client.

Everyone should respect that just because they do not like a client does not mean everyone does not like that client.
