Default *Welcome!

Hi everyone.

I would like to extend the middle finger to bodhi, and those other morons who claim that BearShare sends encrypted "spy packets" even after repeated explanations.

I would also like to extend a hearty UP YOURS to Rat Rage Kid once again even though he hasn't posted in awhile.

And big thanks to all of the loyal users who have looked past the ignorant, misinformed comments that I had to remove from BearShare.Net. It is these users who have helped the new people out and really went beyond the call of duty. I welcome you to the new forum (coming soon).

Default Also

A middle finger to certain unnamed people who put "Spyware-free" in their product comparison, preying on the misguided negative attention and making things worse for me.

Don't worry fellas, your time is coming, I've got something real nice headed your way.

Default Whoops

I meant to say, that company who added "Spyware free" in their product feature comparison, and gave everyone a check mark except for BearShare (you know who you are).

Cool Hahaha!

LimeWire lists all other Gnutella clients as being "Spyware-free" except yours! I love it! Personally I prefer Gnucleus, in all of its nag-free open source goodness, but LimeWire is just as good. All of those servants except yours keep to the general ideal of being friendly, useful and not personally threatening.

Benjamin Franklin put it best -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Well, what should I say... These days are gone, I switched to Gnucleus... This rants are now meaningless to me.

Nice day, anyway

Vinnie, you are vulgar and abusive to anyone who is critical of you. You have shown yourself to be vindictive and spiteful. You have never explained the encrypted packets to anyone's satisfaction. You gave some lame explanation about update notices but never explained why these packets were encrypted. In my opinion you are not to be trusted when it comes to file-sharing software. I won't have any of your privacy-invading crapware on my machine and I will urge anyone who will listen to remove it from theirs. You need to grow up and begin acting like an adult instead of slinging vulgar insults and trying silence anyone who has a viewpoint different from yours.

To anyone reading this who may be trying to decide which gnutella servent to use, I would suggest ANYTHING BUT BEARSHARE. It can't be trusted. I have found that Gnucleus serves my needs better than any other servent I've tried. It contains no spyware and is open source.

Conctructive again, eh?

[all you people who say you've moved on to gnucleus will be amazed when you see the up-coming bearshare...]

Maybe. Maybe I will even take a look. And if I am only half as amazed as I was seeing the new gnucleus, it will be surely worth a try. But posts like yours, spewing names again, will not be good advertisement for it.

Greetings...
