WOW...

Wonder why there is no mention on WinMX on these forums.

So far I've used WinMX less than 24hrs. and managed to download 3 games, 2 movies and 5 mp3's.

Something I haven't been able to achive on Bearshare in over 2 weeks now.

Dose anyone like WinMX.

Im never lookin back.

My feeling exactly about WinMX... not sure why it hasn't taken off yet and blown this Gnutella stuff away...Didn't take me long to get rid of Bearshare and it's add-ons, for several reasons. I will talk up WinWX also, but this is not the place to do it, I would suspect.

I think it is a little bit more complex *grin*: Besides all the issues like 'paid in future', open nap servers are very likely to decrease in count and availability. Gnutella net is the only solution with no central server, so it is in my opinion much harder to attack. Also I like the idea of 'all control to the users' very much :-)
