Default Idiot

Moron, if you bothered to look you might have noticed that there are LESS bundled products in 2.2.6.

[Idiot ... Moron]

Yes, as another one said recently: We recognize the genuine Vinnie manners.

Go and work on them.

With that attitude why would I want to go look? So zeroshadow is really Vinnie after all? $$$ interest in Bearshare, you can tell. Greed sucks, keep it off Gnutella.

Thumbs up

I love BearShare but don't like having to upgrade all the time. Could we please get rid of the upgrade prompt when connecting or spread the upgrades out over time? Thanks for a great client!

Wrong again!

For you information I have no "$$$ interest in Bearshare". BearShare has no anonymity, and to me that makes BearShare dated and slated for the block, soon to follow Napter down the drain. But since ELFnet and Freenet are still not really usable yet, I use BearShare because it is the best that I have found. And yes I have tried all the rest, even have most of them still on my computer.

zeroshadow's IP address is from Utah.
Vinnie's IP address is from Florida.

So they're not the same person. And even if they were, who cares?

If there was no upgrade prompt the average user would never upgrade. A lot of the upgrades include changes that are very important for the health of the network, without them it would not be near as good as it could be.

One of the best things about BearShare is that it does have a lot of upgrades. BearShare did not start out as the best client, but because BearShare has a faster rate of development them most other clients, it is becoming better faster. And yes with development comes upgrades. So even though upgrading is a pain in the a** I still look forward to doing it.
