Burning CD's using Windows Media 9 Hi, This is my first post to the forum and I hope Ihave got it right. My problem is using Windows Media 9 when burning my CD's I have no problem burning the CD's its when I play them back my problems begin. They play alright on my dvd player and my personal cd player but when I try to play them on any other cd player nothing happens I hope sombody out there can tell me what I am doing wrong Fonzie |
I have tried all types of cd's the recently being JVC CD-R80 for Audio I tried this one because it states on the cover for music only. While looking through the posts in the Forum I am thinking maybe Windows 9 is not exactly the method for creating cd 's and maybe I should consider purchasing a different cd burning product I am completely new to this and any help and advice would be much appreciated Thanks Fonzie |
Sorry I picked you up wrong,I have tried all types of discs but I still have problems.I am trying to burn audio cd's that are compatable with any cd player,I have no problem burning the disc, and it plays back alright on my cd/dvd player and on my personal cd player but it will not play on any other stand alone cd player |
Just one suggestion, drop your burn speed down to the minimum that both your burner & the disk will allow. Then see if that makes a difference to all-round compatibility for all players. You might be surprised. Some standalone players (particularly the older ones) don't like cd-r's burnt at high speeds! Whereas dvd players are not so fussy b/c they have better read abilities at lower reflectivity. |
