file type changing once saved
 

im downloading my favourite tunes as mp3. but once i have saved them to my playlist in windows media player. they change to m3u ? its so frustrating! plus when i want to burn them to cd. it wont let me. saying theres an error. ? how can i resolve this? ..

m3u is a playlist file. It doesn't contain any music per se, but simply points the player to where the music is located. That's fine except if you later move or delete the songs, the playlist won't work. So make sure the song files are where they were originally, or else, re-add them to wmp.
