Corrupted Downloads after an unintentional restart Bearshare was downloading when the PC shut down because of a UPS failure. After restart windows scandisk checked the disk & truncated /repaired a few entries (some from bearshare temp folder). Now when i restarted bearshare again it asked for all the settings again as if it was installed for the first time. The downloads that were running at the time of the restart do not show at all in the downloads pane ,but are there in the temp folder. Is there any way that I can recover these lost downloads ?How can I tell bearshare that these temp files are incomplete downloads,so that I can start them from the position thay were prior to the UPS mishap ? I am using Pro version 5.0.2.3 on Win MCE platform. Thanks & appreciate any help . |
from me experiences I would have to say that you have lost all of the incompletes....tough luck, but at least you can feel you're not the only one, as I've had this happen a few times over the years... |
