Ecstasio is flying high
Default Crashing to desktop with this :

.\GHasherThread.cpp (#1106) .\GHasherThread.cpp (888) -> .\GLibraryDb.cpp (1574), unable to open database file -> .\GLibraryTransaction.cpp (77), Transaction rollback

Message keeps popping up and crashing me to desktop.

Help would be cool if anyone can give me a pointer ?

  • Go to the folder "C:\Program Files\BearShare\db"
  • Move library.db and library.2.db out of there.
  • Rename library.db.lastgoodload.bak to library.db and library.2.db.lastgoodload.bak to library.2.db
  • Try running BearShare again.

Before I do as you suggest can I ask....are those files not a database of my own "shared" files ??

If so and I rename them will I have to re-hash the 14000+ files I am sharing ??? (that will takes hours).

P.S.

Thanks for replying

That's right, so move the originals out instead of deleting and
try the backups, like I said.

Also, sharing that many files is more likely to cause errors
like this. Try moving out all the stuff many other people are
already sharing. The most valuable files are always the
rarer ones. ;]
