Default my uploads

2 people uploaded the same song from me. i went to my uploads folder. and the songs are listed. one says done and one says timeout. what do those mean?

I assume you mean the "upload tab" rather than the folder (since there is no such folder,...it would be the shared folder). Done would mean that the person who has downloaded the files could complete the download, yet the file hasn't disappeared from your list. I think there is an option that you can tick in LW>Tools>Option> Uploads......so that the finished uploads will automatically be deleted, though I'm not sure about that right now (haven't LW running at present, so can't check).
Hmm, the time out puzzles me a bit,.....could be that a p2p client (not necessarily LW) had an option ticked which stops upload attempts after a certain time....

As far as I understand it, it means that the set time limit was reached before the requested action could be initiated......I remember that from my old dial up 56k modem. I could set for it a time limit (usually 60sec) after which the modem stopped to attempt to connect to the internet....

On the upload tab it just means the other end stopped responding.
It's quite common and nothing to worry about.
Maybe he'll be back tomorrow.
