Why does this worm keep coming up?
 

New to this forum and not sure if this has been covered in depth.

I try to download whole albums/discographies using .zip or .rar

I get thousands of results that are always 202,477 kb - I downloaded one and it was flagged as a worm and quarantined by AVG. Why is this so rampant??

Its a file share worm.
Your search is too vague, enter an artists album or something like - Goo Goo Dolls album, Pink complete album, Roxy Music entire CD.......etc look for the artist and not wide ranging results.

I map the Generic.FX!CME worm and it goes into the [BearShare fullsize hostiles list].

When not actually hunting worms I set the minimum size on my searches to
one megabyte and that filters out virtually all nasties like that.

Learn how to add your searches to the Favorites. You can fine tune their
advanced filters and use them every day for as long as you want. I typically
keep anywhere from 75 to 200 searches permanently running, which helps
propel about a thousand long term downloads to a rate of twenty plus gigs a month.
