Im having problems connecting...
Ive used all the hosts you are posting here (connect2.*****) But still nothing.
I get some hosts connected from time to time, one, two, maybe 3, but they only last for about 20 seconds, and then it says timeout.
The error message in the box says: *********.*** closed because the host didnt respond.

It keeps on telling me that and no host "stays" so i can search. I must be behind a firewall (university computer room) but many programs that with a normal firewall wont work they do. Is there anything i can change in my BearShare configuration so these hosts dont fly away ???

Do bearshare connect to the homepage?

If not bearshare is blocked by a firewall! The most universities block sharing progs. Ask your admi.

Bearshare use the port 6346 as standard and need server rights!

It's not your fault, Bearshare 2.3.0 is a bad design. We will see a major overhaul on its next release or it is doomed as 'significant' gnutella client.
