New member need help

Hi I'm new to the experience. Love it so far. I need to know how to read a message left to me in my upload file. I have no chat icon. Does that mean I need to upgrade or is there some magical trick to respond to other hosts?

With LimeWire open go to Tools/Options/Chat and make sure enable chat is ticked.(First Picture) Then when you want to chat with someone just right click on them and then click on chat with host. (Second Picture)

Setup/Service: "Allow other users to chat with me"
