Anyone any idea what causes messages like:
Error in ProcessSendCompletion(), unexpected completion reason==12 and dwPlatformError 312

Sometimes I have lots of them but with different numbers after "dwPlatformError

uninstall your version, do a defrag of your HDD, then install the beta version mentioned in the first post of the above thread...right click on the BearStart.exe and choose pin to start menu...BearStart 'hacks' the beta version and allows it to run...

A bit more complecated, but o.k.

Bottom line: Even with the error messages, did you still connect to hosts and
download files successfully? Most of those completion "errors" have no effect at
all and that's why no other program even bothers to report them.

BearShare monitors that obscure stuff about how connections close purely for
diagnostic purposes in the beta cycle and it was not worth our while to
remove that particular reporter.

I am not sure, bet suppose you are right.
Mostly after restart this it stops or at least partly.
The new version works good: Does not stop.
If there are errors; there is no window to show them ;-)
The older version sometimes stops automaticly ( windows errors ).
Could be because my firewal [panda titanium 2007] that blocs some parts of the program.
I did not learn for this things.
