Its a differnce to "use" bearshare or to "support" bearshare...

you support bearshare so you support Vinnie...

I thought the same way as you...

I thought I support bearshare and not Vinnie...

but all I have supported the whole time was Vinnie...

because Vinnie is unable to keep the peace alive... this is necessary for a community, necessary for improvements... but Vinnie thinks about making money not about improving the community... many people left, because Vinnie is an idiot... some good programmers were between them... like Moak...

a community needs fair discussions for improvents, "real" improvents not only the prog has to be improved... also the community has to... and bearshare is one of the worst communities in the Gnutella net - I don´t wonder a troll always seeks for trolls - are you a troll Becker? I think not...

but Becker who you support is only your choice...

The time he posted is irrelevent since everyone sees the time according to their own time zone,

Thanx Bro, for the coaching about time zones. FYI, I use GMT as my default time setting.

I went back to TM's post, the time there (in GMT) is - 11-26-2001 04:36 AM.

Now, TM sez he gets "home around 1 a.m. to poke my head in this .... *cough* ... community for an hour or so"

If he made this post at 1AM local time, then his time zone was approx 3hrs behind GMT. Which puts him in -

a- Atlantic ocean
b- Greenland
c- Brasilia or eastern brazil.

US EST (eastern standard time) is 5 hrs behind GMT.

Is TM really Vinnie?

The other thing which makes ppl talk is that TM gets to be a mod with a thread count of less than 20 posts!!

At the time he made those above posts, he had exactly 11 posts to his credit! Could such a inexperienced person be allowed to become a mod? NO, unless, unlesss... "he" was actually vinne or someone on the staff.

That combined with his time zone discrepencies and his vinnie-like opinions, seems to indicate that they are both the same person.

GOOD POINTs!! I have talked to vinnie, money didnt seem to be a big topic we when talked. where for did he go on and on about money? Bearshare almost when bankrupt when Onflow screwed them over and i think since then he is/was worried. i dont blame him about that, he left his old programming job to run BS full time. but money shouldnt be the only thing.

Who is Moak? how can i talk to them? I program C++ [well turbo c++ i want to program VC++] and i love to talk to programmers for help or tips. that is if they dont mind.

I read the GDF well i use to. there was to much aruging about what is best for the network that i stop reading them. Vinnie was not a major debater when i was reading the GDF but that might of changed. Will such a large group of people ever come to an agreement on one thing that is best for the network? if so what about the billion other things?

Why is Bearshare the worst community on the network? and you lost me with your troll statment.. is it a german thing?

last but least. Yes this community needs good converstaions on how to help the network.. why is this thread here?

Actually there is an Atlantic time zone - Nova Scotia, Canada, which is one hour ahead of Eastern and 4 hours behind GMT, depending on the time of year (Daylight Savings vs. Standard time).

Moak - look at the top 10 list here... he posted also on bearshare.net...

Why bearshare is the worst community??? Becker do really think that all problems are discussed "free" on bearshare.net? And you have seen the statements against people who tell there opinion...

On bearshare.de we heard all voices and discussed them... some people stayed and some people are gone but the community was excellent, we never lied, hide or censored something...

We discussed openly the pro and contra... we discussed other filesharing progs too... this is a community... do you really think all "bearshare" user use only bearshare??? Becker the most people use more than one sharing prog, but if you tell this on bearshare.net you are a traitor or troll! Thank you Vinnie!

And if you want to know what a troll is... Vinnie knows this he called me so... so this is no German thing...

Do you really belive then "I" post the thread on bearshare.net that this is a really good idea? I have seen the last time what Vinnie and his knights are thinking about critic...

And in this forum here we have no censorship, and no threads are moved to a hidden forum...

And for your Microsoft support... how do you support Microsoft? Are you a developer? Do you sell Microsoft products? Do you moderate a Microsoft forum? Or do you use it "only"?

As I said supporting and using are two worlds...
