What does avi mean
 
and why can't I view them in video . Only the mp3 are ones that will play

anyway , some of my favorite shows are only in avi , and I'v quit downloading them becaus e I can never get them to play with video . The audio comes through fine , but I only get visualizations from my media players

You also need the necessary codecs to veiw most movies or just download the VLC player it has them installed already and will play just about everything....

Or you can choose codecs to suit your needs from this list...

... and, please try one of the most simple options for today...

Click on the Cole2k Codecs link in my sig below
and install the STANDARD pack.

It would help us to help you more if you would say what 'player' software you are using !
