The wrong format for ipod? I recently downloaded and installed Bearshare in hope of gaing access to music again after my Limewire stopped working... Anyway I went to put my 1st new music in weeks in itunes and it gave me a message to convert it. Itunes prompted me to convert it and it mentioned licenses and protected music or some bull. Does that mean that I can't download anything that is in gold and only the green? Because in that case srew BearShare.. |
Which version of BearShare? Version 6 uses the Microsoft DRM which is incompatible with Apple's. The original BearShare works much better because you can get music without DRM of either kind and it connects directly to the iTunes software in your computer. You can get it here: Sticky: BearShare has been sabotaged. |
And, Ipod works with a rare format (AAC=Advanced Audio Codec or something like that) that not so much players support, that's why i prefer a Zune or a Gigabeat, and yep, Bearshare is now :death: |

I said that because of the new versions now that Bear has been bought by iMesh inc. |
