bearshare- install error

the file \mozilla\firefox\\prefs.js could not be opened .. that's what appears when I am trying to in stall bearshare 6.1 .. do anyone has any idea?

Sounds like it's trying to force a bit of adware on FF and your defences are holding up. ;]

Do you want to try the original BearShare instead?
Version 6.1 is little more than a music rental store with a limited catalog.
