Default Accidently deleted Bearshare Problems installing again

Ok , I goofed up when I cleaned up my slave drive which I had bearshare v5.0.2.3 on it . I was pissed when I noticed Bearshare was gone . I tried to install it again but the exe file just sits there .
I believe I had this problem before but cant remember what to do to get this to install again . I went through the process of going through internet explorer and the tools and deleting files and offline content but I still cant install . Also I deleted everything to do with bearshare off my computer (except for the download folder ) .
I also tried other old versions of bearshare and they just sit there also.
Anyone with other options ????

Try the one in this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...sabotaged.html

Save it to disk instead of running it when IE asks, then run it after IE is closed.
Don't forget to get BearStart too.

Like I said I have tried other versions including that one and they all just sit there and dont even start the install process after I double click the EXE file .
I dont know if this helps any , but I usually run Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

Check your various types of security software and see if they are interfering. Check that your
temp folder's security attributes allow you to run programs. Try moving the installers to a place
you know you can run software from.

I would need more info to proceed any further.
Get BearDiag, run it and continue at the Technutopia Forums.

So, it was probably interference from software you had running.
List what are you using, in case the problem comes up again.

Hold the F8 key when the computer is booting up.
You'll get a menu of bootup options, one of which is Safe Mode.

It was probably the antispyware getting in the way.
Some of them misidentify BearShare as spyware.
