Connection HELP SOMEONE i've been trying for 4 hours AHH!

ok limewire loads me on pretty slow and than after i get on it and i do what i usually do to download a song it gets all popping up a message of "Limewire is currently connecting to the network......." and like the last time i went on it worked perfectly fine why is this happening? is it like just for today or is it gonna always b like that? and it says something about my firewall maybe blocking it and its not it allows Limewire to bypass and connect
