I just got bearshare and it worked great for an hour and then i tried deleting something and i got angry because vista would not let me so i came to this site wondering how to delete files from vista with permission and i think i screwed something up in the owners tab for bearshare because it will not connect and it did before i tried messing around with it.

please help me

What exactly did you try to delete?

The usual advice for Vista is to set the program's (BearShare.exe)
properties to run in compatibility mode for XP and as an administrator and
set security permissions on all the program and download folders to full
access for "Everyone".
