Bearflix connection problems

I have Bearshare and Bearflix, both of which worked until I updated the bearflix to bearflixpro. Then I began to have problems with both. So I uninstalled bearshare and re-installed it. Now bearshare works fine, but bearflix still will not connect to the network. I have tried unistalling and re-installing bearflix and still i have no connection to the network. As soon as I double click on the bearflix icon on my desktop, it begins to open, then almost immediatly a box pops up stating bearflix has encoutered a problem and needs to close. Any suggestions anyone??...
