i downloaded the connect thing after i have copied it to the bearshare db folder what do i do next. nothing is happenin

Are you sure you "replaced" the previous connection cache ... or simply dropped the folder inside? That's something I perhaps did not spell out, to move the contents of the zip or rar file to the db folder, not the folder itself after unzipping/unrar'ing. The contents inside the folder that shows after unzipping should be moved to the db folder, not the folder itself.
