Default spyware

Can anyone explain the difference between file sharing programs Kazza and Bearshare? Also, do they contain spyware? If they do, is there a option to opt out without the adware changing system settings. Thanks

Bearshare has the option to not install this "spyware". A screen will show durning the setup file that shows you what files are being installed. Un-check ever one that doesnt deal with bearshare.

As far as I know, some parts of the spyware are installed without asking.

This is not true with Bearshare.  Also, BearShare offers adware, not spyware.  There is a difference.  But no matter what you call it, BearShare does not install anything behind your back.  The adware is checked by default for installation, but you do have the option to uncheck them before installing the program.

Not every gnutella servent can say that.
