![]() It's most likely a disk problem. Run a disk error check and check the box marked "Automatically fix file system errors". It will ask you to reboot and then it will do the check instead of starting Windows. After that it will start Windows and you will either have the files back or not, but at least you won't lose any more of them. |

![]() Probably doubtful it would help in this scenario, but a possibility is you use a file recovery utility: File Recovery after deletion (click on link). Recuva sounds like a good one to try. ![]() |
