Thank God my country is so small and few people speak the language. No big label shows any interest in most of the bands here. The big record companies here are local and upcoming musicians get sponsored by other businesses, which often have nothing to do with music. The musicians make their money mostly from live performance and more often than not aren't even full time musicians. The music is a hobby without time limits rushing halfassed tracks and CDs out on the market.

I have trouble picturing how great the music would be around the world, if it was like this everywhere. We actually have new CDs here where almost every track is either great or quite good. I have trouble finding a single Big Business CD where that is the case.
