Well I met this girl online that I like. we are dating but I was thinking that the distance may become a problem. I live in Gary Indiana and she lives in Chicago Illinois. Do you all think this may be a problem? Where going on some dates soon and I’m going to take the greyhound to see her. Gary is not that far from Chicago it’s like 30mins away on the greyhound or train. I know people that work in Chicago and take the train every day to work. The greyhound is like 6-$7 and same on the train.

Having a girlfriend on the internet away from your own state is only a problem if you were not able to be with her. There are online relationships when a person will not go and see the other person so often it sizzle out. Wish you luck.

I used to have similar experience, it wasn't online though... We met each other when he was on holidays in my city, then he left, but we were so much into each other that managed to make it to 6 months. It was a nightmare primarily due to jealousy.
