shrink avi to fit on dvd

can anybody help me ?????????????

i am really thick and i have downloaded a couple of films to copy to dvd, but the file is too big, and roxio will not alow me to continue to burn to a disc... is there any free software out there what can help me ????????

Hey, PP !!!

Some .avi files are made by folks who aren't too worried about size, hmmm ?

But, as far as Roxio, the rat, is concerned, I know you used to love it, but this user should for sure try, at the least, the latest NERO...

AND... First practice on DVD-RWs... And, there are legions of folks out there who swear that, with DVDs, it is far better to ALWAYS
use DVD-RWs for copying DVDs or 'creating' them from .avi files...
