using downloaded programs

Ok.....So I downloaded a program and obviously I can't just "play" (launch) it. So how do I access and use a downloaded program? I downloaded an ************* Full Version and supposedly it has the registration code judging by the description. But I don't even know where to start. It is a Zip file as well if that helps. Please help me!!!!!!!!!
