Media Player

I'm currently looking for a new Media Player and I was wondering what everyone out there suggests. Currently I have Blaze Media Pro, and it's editing my audio programs and now some of them won't play. I'm unimpressed with WMP, it wouldn't play half of my video files always giving me and error code, even after updating the codeks. If anyone out there knows of a really good media player please let me know. I'm looking for an all-in-one though. Somthing that I can convert all my files and play Audio and Video. Thanks.

A 'friend of mine' has done a very special version of the old 2.9x series of Winamp...

Wipes the bitter bottom of the newest Winamp junk...

Do searches for

Winamp 2.95 Full Suite+ Pro...........

Many of the so-called great players are in fact 'data-miners'...

SPYWARE as it is incorrectly named...

Have a look around these Gnutella Forums for more info... You will probably also need to learn a bit about CO(derS)DEC(oderS) - CODECS...

Nimo is a very good package, regardless of its 'age' !

You will undoubtedly have many more replies so enjoy your overwhelmed state of confusion to come !!!

All good fun, what ?

VLC will play both video & audio files: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site)

It's not a fancy player but it's effective & has in-built codecs ... no need to downld special codecs for it.
