Default startup cd

i have a bad *** sy****ks 3 boot cd. I downloaded several startup programs, put them on a blank cd-rw, but the disk won't start when holding down the C key. I am running power mac G4 with OS 10.3.8. Help !!!

I tried using Yoast and dragging.

That is a complicated app & is not easy to put to a startup cd. In fact creating any startup cd for OSX is not easy & very slow. Sure try it out on RW but CD-R would read a little faster ... custom startup cd's for osx I've found tend to be very very slow starting up. You'll probably find there's some missing files from the original (probably invisible files ... that app has or creates lots of invisible files.) Try a utility like BootCD which can help create osx boot cd's. In there you will find reference in the read me about the app you're refering to & probs in creating such a disk. I created a boot disk & it took over 20 mins to start. OSX is far far different to os9 re: boot cd's.
