What do yall think of that file sharing site? I am hearing it's supposed to be the best.

ares is verry good , i use it alot . it dose have some spyware but you can select not to install it . the one thing i dont like is that you cant find any lossless music like WAV files,its just mp3s. but everything els is great .thers not as many people on the ares network so thers not as much content . i find the gui and the design verry good (better than limewire), it has built in chatrooms ,video/music player and a web browser . if there were more users and if i could find wav files id say its way better than limewire . i think limewire is best for music . so i use limewire for music and ares for chat and downloading ...hmmmmm ...lets just say "nature documentery movies"

hey ive been using ares for a while for music for my ipod but it hasn't been connecting so it doesnt come up with any search results. ive tryed turning my firewal off but it didnt do anything. please help

TURN YOUR FIRE WALL BACK ON!!! it keeps viruses and hackers out. ares dose that (refuses to connect) get the latest vershion if you dont allredy have it, and try letting it sit for 20mins to an hour and see if it connects. if you have an old vershion ,upgradeing it will prolly fix it get the newest ver from : http://aresgalaxy.org/

Hi guys:

I'm new to Limre ware....A few newbie questions...Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. When someone is connected to my computer, are they just scanning the shared Limewire file folder that is in the Limewire program?

2. Do they see my home page name?

3. How do I see my P2P profile that others see?

Sorry if it sounds stupid, but I am new to all of this...I have albums...
