viewing movies
 

When I download a movie it seems the only format my computer will recgonize is avi i have tried others like mpg and they wont play what settings do I need to down load any type of movie. I have easy cd creator 7.5 installed but I have nero 6.0 in my cd case

Do a search, install and run the latest version of FFDSHOW. Try your movies again after you have done that.

problem with media also
 

I am currently using windows media player, but for some reason it refuses to play avi files. How do I get them to play?
