Question NOT a newbie ...but having an issue...help please?

OK here goes...
I have an Imac G4, running on OS X 3.9 . It JUST got a new harddrive a couple days ago, I tried redownloading Limewire basic and then went to my upgrade page to redownload PRO, everything installs on my pc correctly, when I try to launch LW it stops and end "unexpectedly" when it comes to the "searching HTML Engines" Now what???? I tried emailing support but havent heard anything back yet...can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this?
Thanks Shelley

im not a mac user, but download the newest beta available on your pro download page. it might fix your problem. (you might also want to delete your .limewire preferences)

please see: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...re+preferences
and then see:

but regarding your sentiment towards us volunteers here (this forum/board is ran by volunteers and enthusiasts), we try and help whenever, wherever, and however possible. we are not here to be yelled at. nor are we required to help you at all. we can even read your post, know the answer, but then decide not to help you because we dont feel like it.

however, when you purchased LimeWire, you agreed to a no money back guarentee (lol). [regarding no refund policy, please see this] this means no refunds whatsoever. you are expected to try out the basic version first before purchasing pro for as long as you like (you can even use it forever without paying) without any commitment to ever purchase the pro software. did you read the agreement before purchasing?

FYI IF I were yelling I'd be writing in caps, 2nd thanks for replying back...Im just venting my frustrations.... 3rd I had the basic version for about a year before I decided to go Pro, I dont see much of a difference except for the look of LW and more skins to lay with...but all that is moot....I finally DID find a way to get pro back up on the pc here..someone finally posted a link and it worked for me (in the mac os X forum) Believe it or not I JUST found this link less than 20 minutes go too!!
