upload problem
 

hi i was wondering why when im letting peole download from me they can only get around 25kbs as i have set the uploads to unlimited and slots to 10 and uploads per person to 5. they should be able to toatl around 60-75kbs in total and its only going as far as 25kbs if anyone can help please let me know as i share popular files for people and they give up on the upload cos its too slow. thanks

Keep in mind that these people may also be downlding from other people simultaneously. And/or they may also have limited speeds. eg: My maximum downld speed is 27 KB/s. Check your maximum upload speed you've set. And also add all those uploading from you. At times it may well add up to near your maximum. But some slots might get filled by slow downlders (dial up or slower broadband like mine) & they're also getting some % from other people. BTW I presume you set your firewalls to allow full access for Limewire.

thanks for that. my firewall is set to accept limewire and when people upload from me it never totals above 25kbs even when my mate directly connected to me he could only download 25kbs in total and neither of us was downloading anything ive set almost everything possible to what it needs to be and still i cant seem to get it to go higher but thanks for your help if u have any more suggestions could u private message me on wayne777 thanks
