Help!!

I just installed Limewire and downloaded a few songs, when I went to play them, they are playing at an excellerated speed - yikes! What can I do?

Hi racegirl,
Try playing the music using a different audio player (ie not the LimeWire one). Tools>options>player then untick the use LW player box. Don't forget to press 'apply' then 'ok'. If it's still horrible, download from a different host & preview the song after 20%, then you'll see if it's ok or not. I think it's a good idea to preview anything you download.

if your using WMP , the play speed may have gotten screwed up...

in WMP go to VIEW>enhancements>play speed settings
and see if its set wrong.

if its not that the songs are probobley corrupted or RIAA fakes.

Get Jet Audio its the best music player and it has a million cool things in it.
