Newbie here~ Can other users get into my pictures that I do not want to share.
 

I was checking to see what was being uploaded from my Limewire files and I noticed a file of by the same name as mine being uploaded. Is this possible? I did not do anything to share these. I am concerned becuase I do not want people that I do not know getting pictures of my family.

Are your pictures in your shared images folder?

I have them under my pictures. I am 99 % sure it is not a shared file becuase other members of my family dont ahve the same pictures under their pictures when they look.

To see what your shared image folder is, in LimeWire, go into Tools>Options>Sharing. Hold the mouse over Images and the path to your shared images folder will appear. If it's your pictures folder you may want to create another folder for your family pictures.

When you open limewire go to tools on the toolbar on top Choose Options Then choose Sharing Chose the directory you want to share If the pictures arent in that directory nobody will be able to access them
