Help PC didn't Crash just closed on me

Ok,

Wow don't know what happened 10 minutes ago so I'll start from the beginning.

Dowloading (obsessed) as usual (and sharing files)
Get a wee box saying new files installed by my clock so click on that and limewire maximises (never ever happened before), goes to individual save files and theirs files there that I never requested - I only ever download music or media files but these were images, I quickly deleted them as hell I don't know where they came from.
Went back to watching an episode of ........ and all of a sudden my PC closes all my files and shuts down.

It didn't crash know what thats like, it calmly shut all my files.

Checked for viruses just had the usual amount (7) and have vaulted them or whatever happens to them.

Checked my recycle folder and the image files I deleted quickly aren't there so I can't even tell you what they are.

I really hope someone can help.
