![]() I did a search on limewire for Charlie and the chocolate factory and downloaded one of the results... for my partners children and when i played it back it was a porn movie.. I was stunned .. I had almost told the children just to go ahead and start it! is there a way to stop these search results from showing??? Thanx Louise |

![]() Louise One of the things that plague the P2P network is wrongly labelled files so it is never a good idea to accept anything at face value without checking or allow children to use LW unsupervised. You must understand that when you initiate a download you are not downloading from a single reliable source you are actually downloading from any number of PCs each of which may have dubious owners. Saying that, there are ways to filter out porn and adult related material but you can never totally be certain because of files with falsified names. Download the user manual, there is a bit on how to use the filters in LW. You can also use LW's bitzi lookup to check the file before you start to download it, again this facility is mentioned in the user manual. UK Bob |
