When I used another user name, I wasn't aware that there was an anti-piracy rule in effect. I didn't see any mention of it in the forum rules, so I didn't think there was anything wrong with mentioning song names. Boy was I wrong. I wound up getting banned on my other user name. Now I'm trying to prevent that from happening again, yet I can't help feeling a sense of regret for having broken a rule.

I'm guessing you were the member who unedited a moderator's edit on your song titles. That was what got you banned. Interfering with moderators work will get you into particular trouble.

We must be vigilant here otherwise the authorities could take a close look at this site & close it down. That's why we must be strict about such issues. And yes, other forums & sites have been closed down for those reasons. eg: if someone can google a song or movie title & find their way to this forum, then that's bad news for us.

Well yes, I did unedit a moderator's edit on the songs I posted on my other user name. I'm sorry I did that. I didn't realize that by doing so, I would get myself banned. I am beating myself up over this. How could I be so stupid?

I guess I could say I was warned, but I ignored the warnings. Not intentionally, mind you. I just didn't understand what was going on, or why. Now I know. I've thought about the idea of editing posts, and this popped into my mind-maybe the edit feature should be disabled for people like myself in the Junior rank, since those people could use it for the wrong purposes, like I did. You see, when I unedited a moderator's post, I thought my computer was acting up, as it has a tendency to do from time to time. Oh well, what's done is done. I can't change the past.
