Is using video clips from video games and TV shows to make a music video and then sharing it considered "illegal"?

Anybody?

of course it would be considered illegal...just as a music artist who uses samples of others work is breaking the law, so would you...

now..since you would be offering this for free uploads, the 'crime' is different, as you are making no profit from it, but...and this is a big but, it is still illegal, and if you got the 'wrong' person's ire up, they could very well make your life miserable...this has already happened....

Well, for downloading music illigally (means by breaking copyright laws); yes!!
The question is, are they going to do so with you (or your friend)?!?
Reminds me a bit of the prohibition, did they try to get Al Capone or the guy who used to drink his stuff?!?
So, ask yourself, are you the Al capone guy or the latter one??;) :cool: :D
