With Windows XP I download the Limewire.exe file. When I try to open the file I get the message "NSIS ERROR Error writing temporary file. Make sure your temp folder is valid". What makes the temp file INVALID? Would appreciate help

NSIS Error - Error writing temporary file

Why does that ring a bell?

Are you logged in as an administrator?

Go to your temporary folder (C:\Documents and Settings\You\Local Settings\Temp)
and try clearing it out before you try again.

Maybe the installer is damaged or you have defective antivirus/antispyware that
treats LimeWire as though it was a virus.

Try clearing your browser's cache and download again, and if you have
antivirus/antispyware stuff, turn it off while installing.
