how to 'tick' files manually? hi! when i come across already downloaded files in my search,i find a tick mark against them.now can i do something such that whenever i come across a particular file(or many files) in my search,i shud find them 'ticked',even though i have not downloaded them?i mean 2 ask, just as i can mark messages as 'flagged' in my yahoo mail, can i check some files such that they appear to be ticked in my search? |

Perhaps he's looking for a spam filter or something to protect from worms. |
i want it as i hav reinstalled my OS again, and the newly installed limewire does'nt recognise which files were already downloaded and which are new ones(bcos the already downloaded files usually have a tick mark against them in the search). |
If you have renamed the files atall, or if the files you are seeing in search are very slightly different in any way, they will not show up with a tick. There is no way afaik of ticking them manually. |

And then, of course, the point Hobo mentioned. If you've changed even only a dot of the original file name, then they won't appear as "ticked" (i.e. as already downloaded.) ;) ;) |
