Default Help With Windows

Okay so i've been having lame problems with windows

1) I tried to delete a partition but it won't go away

2) the c: only has 1.99 GB space and my hard drive has alot more than that

3) my D: isn't working (DVD ROM) and i really need that

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!

hahahahaha...so you can remotely fry a person's box, but yur having these issues....yeah...righto....sheeshus...

as a guess, you tried to delete a partition with the 'name' of D:, and now your OS is totally confused...you have to merge partitions....at this point you probably have a hell of a lot of unused disc space with no name....

for giggles, try inserting your XP install disc at boot up and see if your drive works (obviously by starting the install process)..if it does, then your drive is fine and your OS whacked, if not then your drive is prolly hosed...
