My Laptop
 

This isn't about p2p but to let people know. My laptop works know!!!! I don't have my files anymore :o I had to reboot.

The word for today is "Backup"

As in always backup your files ;)

Know i'm embarressed. How do I backup know? I don't have a burner for the laptop.

You can link to your other PC or

You can use a USB Memory Bird or

You can use Limewire to download files of your laptop to your PC or

ehh out of ideas :)

I would use mt left over floppy disks but my laptop can't take floppys. Target (the store) always has them on sale. I will pick one up next week or sooner.

You could upload to a site & then downld to the other computer. yousendit is a good example of large sized files that can be done with. Beyond that, you'd need a special segment archive program.

I am gonna go to target this week to see how much a usb costs. Target always has them on sale.

Remember to buy a 1024 MB pen if into movies ;)

Hi fan, if there is any chance that your files have not been overwritten you might be able to resurrect them. There is a good file recovery prog at http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm
it is freeware so no cost to try :)
