![]() I have wondered what these public groups could be from time to time and it is a feature that can be employed by administrators of vbulletin forums, or so I gather from attempting a little research. They are not employed in these forums (unless I am missing something) ..so that is why you see no members belonging to public groups. It is nothing to do with groups unrelated to the Forums, and can in any event only be edited, I would assume, by forum administrators. You now know as much as I do, and are probably utterly mistified ...as I am ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() I haven't investigated it very much. But it's an option AFAIK in the vBulletin forum software. I haven't seen any need for it so far. But the listing of it in member's profiles is by default. Not to say it won't be investigated further in future. Definitions of "public" group would need to be agreed to. We currently have a limited no. of groups of members. Depending upon how the forums develop, there's a chance for such an option. But, as suggested earlier. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; October 3rd, 2006 at 01:15 PM. |
