I haven't tried Linux, but anything which has a unix or similar base is bound to be better than windows which is sorta out of date in a way. Mac is easy to use, safe, good ram management, created the icon concept, created the desktop concept, created the drag & drop concept, if any program or the finder crashes then just relaunch without any need to reboot & the ram is refreshed. Chooses the best & most compatible components at the time. WYSIWYG monitors when properly calibrated. Cons: moving to intel based computers. Giving up support for earlier OS's. Gives up development on each OS (such as java, etc.) Expensive. Windows Errors! lol I haven't voted BTW. |
