computer crashed, how do i save music on Ipod
 
i had to reformat my hard drive, i down loaded itunes again, connect ipod, program ask me if i want itunes to sync with ipod or soemthing to that effect, if i let the sync process start ill lose music on ipod, right? is there anyway to save the music on my ipod? load it back on my hard drive, in itunes, ect

Google for ipod retrieval. There are lots of programmes available.:)

thanks, i cant find a free one, however
 
i think my problem might not be to bad, i can see and play the music on my ipod, i had to download a new clean version of itunes. how do i get the music off of my ipod back to itunes

You will need to use a retrieval programme, otherwise, if you plug iPod in it will be errased straight away, unless [I THINK!!!!] update manually happens to be enabled on it, and you can't check or change that until you plug into the computer.

Just to make it clear, you need the retrieval programme to get the songs OFF iPod and back onto your computer. Apple say this is not possible, but the programmes available make it possible.

are there any free recovery programs
 
the searches ive made resulted in a $70 program. have you found a free program that works? thanks for the help

I know nothing about it, but have a look and make up your own mind. I'm not exactly sure what you can do with the trial version:) I would try it myself but I use a Mac
