umm i have a quick question...i have just downloaded limewire and to down load one song it takes like half of an hour is there any thing i can do to make the process faster? by the way the down load speed is already set to 100...

Dial-up is just slow. Have a look through the thread below, it has tips on getting the most out of LW when using dial-up

thank you for the trhead....but im not sure what the bandwidth actually is and i was a little confused about where to set it

Do a speed test & find out what your speed is. Then in LW go tools > options > speed & make sure your speed's set to modem. Then go tools > options > downloads & you can adjust the bandwidth using the slider (set it to about 75% of your download speed). Tools > options > uploads & you can set your upload bandwidth there as well as Grandpa described in the thread.

Try that & see how you go.
