hello ; I have a question ; I'm new to these forums , but not to Limewire . I have been trying to search for songs by artist's names and a file keeps popping up , which my antivirus program says is a Trojan Horse. Is there any place to report this so that others don't download it and have the virus on their hard drive ??? Thanks Ray

There are many many threads and posts here on the problem of corrupted files.
Please search around the forums as it would be difficult to know where to begin with even links !!!

Main thing is to check the file size... If it's ridiculously small for the type of file you are looking for, it isn't go to be OK...

Try a search with your first name spelled backwards... Wait a while... See the hits that come in ? Note the file sizes... Scratch those file sizes on your monitor so you don't forget them. Do this often as there are new bad files arriving all the time.

ALWAYS be doubtful of files with many sources appearing very quickly after starting a search.
Scan EVERYTHING YOU DOWNLOAD BEFORE OPENING.

And, always use Bitzi to check the file first !!!
